We’re back at our old home away from home, the Parkside Lounge on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, for our only show of 2017. It’s gonna be a huge set of our patented monster prog-funk on Saturday, May 6th from 8 to 10pm. DO NOT MISS!

We are pleased to announce our imminent return to the Parkside Lounge! We’ll be playing an 11pm set on Saturday, September 10th. The Parkside was Afroskull’s home base in NYC for several years in the mid to late 2000s. We played there almost every month from January 2005 well into 2011. And now we’re back! Just like old times. Come rock the funk out with us!

We are pleased to announce that Afroskull will be playing a surprise late-night set at the Krewe du Vieux Ball in New Orleans! Catch us late in the evening on Saturday, February 15th at the Trash Palace on Elysian Fields following a super-jam with Ivan Neville and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux. The party’s theme this year is “Where the Vile Things Are,” so naturally they thought of us. Afroskull fans of New Orleans, your Mardi Gras season just got a little heavier. 15 years later, the monster rages on in New York City. Join us for two sets of jams and surprises as we kick off Halloween weekend and celebrate a decade and a half of funkin’ it up. 15 Years of Monster Funk!!

It has been 15 years since Afroskull, the original monsterfunksters, first took it to the stage in uptown New Orleans. Come celebrate this milestone with us back where it all started, at the world famous Maple Leaf Bar. Founding members Joe Scatassa, Bill Richards and Jason Isaac will be joined by a few of their most fiendishly funky friends to bring you two sets jam packed with a decade and a half’s worth of progressive funk-rock.
